IT Security

One of the main research goals of the IT security area is applied IT security with a broad interpretation. This means that it is not only interested in IT problems and solutions in the narrow sense but also in issues such as regulation and the process of security design, which are part of IT security. For example, the IT security-related parts of the eGovernment Framework are the result of previous work. In addition, it addresses the practical design of IT security, including security analysis, ethical hacking, and regulatory and IT tools for implementation.
